Eligibility Criteria (Startups)

• Applications are open exclusively to entities registered and operating in India.
• Startups may be at MVP, pre-seed, seed, or growth stages.

Application Process

• All applications must be submitted in English through the official application form.
• Applicants are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided.
• Confidential and proprietary information should be disclosed at the applicant’s discretion.

Selection Process

• Submission of an application does not guarantee selection for participation in the Investment Bazaar.
• The organizers retain sole discretion in the evaluation and selection process, and the decision is final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
• Selected startups will be invited for one-on-one meetings with interested investors, as per mutual matching.

⚠️ Please note: Investor meetings are scheduled only if the investor expresses interest after reviewing the startup profile. In the event that no meetings are secured due to lack of investor interest, the participation fee is non-refundable.

Program Commitment

• Selected startups must commit to participating in the scheduled 1:1 meetings and any mandatory sessions coordinated by the organizers.
• Failure to participate without notice may result in disqualification from future events.

Confidentiality & IP Protection

• Participants are advised to avoid disclosing sensitive IP or proprietary information unless protected under relevant agreements.
• The organizers do not assume liability for any IP-related disclosures or disputes between parties.
• It is the responsibility of the startup to protect its IP and manage confidentiality with potential investors.

Code of Conduct & Legal Compliance

• All participants are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.
• Participants must comply with all applicable Indian laws and industry regulations.
• Any form of misrepresentation or unethical conduct will lead to immediate disqualification.

Disclaimer

• The organizers do not guarantee funding, investment, or business engagement from participation in the Investment Bazaar.
• Meetings are scheduled based on mutual interest between startups and investors.
• The organizers are not responsible for the outcomes of such meetings or any commercial negotiations that follow.

Indemnity Clause

By applying to and participating in the Investment Bazaar, the applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers, affiliates, partners, sponsors, and representatives from and against any loss, liability, claims, damages, or expenses arising from participation, including but not limited to IP disputes, data breaches, or business losses.

Dispute Resolution

• India Insurtech Summit and its organizers act solely as facilitators for the Investment Bazaar and do not play a role in any commercial, legal, or financial agreements between participating startups and investors.
• We do not encourage or entertain any disputes arising between participants. Startups and investors are expected to mutually resolve any differences or issues that may occur during or after their engagement at the event.
• In the unlikely event of any dispute involving the organizers, all efforts shall be made to resolve the matter amicably. Failing which, such disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
• The governing law for any legal matter arising from this program shall be the laws of India.
